Hannah MartinDESIGNER NAME: Hannah Martin

Hannah is from Bristol. She founded the brand in 2005, following her return to London from Cartier in Paris, and 1st Class Degree from Central Saint Martins. She has also consulted for Givenchy, Tag Heuer and Zenith.

SIGNATURES: “I like to create objects that are impactful in their design, androgynous in their integrity, and that are exquisite both on and off the body. I would say that my signature is sculptural elegance and masculine detailing.”

TRADEMARK PIECE: “I would say the ‘Spur Ring’ from my first collection – ‘It’s only rock’n’roll’.”

IDEAL CLIENT: “Someone looking for something a little different, and that has high craftsmanship values. Our client-base is half men and half women, so I don't see that picking one gender here is fair!”

THE COLLECTION: “An alchemist who had the elixir of life, a dedication to a man beyond the limit of science.”

FAVOURITE COLLECTION TO DATE: “I love all of them for very different reasons - they are all about different characters so I really enjoyed exploring them all individually.”

WHO EMBODIES THE SPIRIT OF THE BRAND: “There really isn't one person - so many elements make up our DNA that it’s impossible to pick an individual, it’s somewhat more than a single name. Our brand is the embodiment of many sources of inspiration…”
