The London Fashion Showcasing Fund (LFSF) was established in 2008 to provide a transparent application process for fashion showcasing event funding.
Funded originally by the London Development Agency (LDA) and now by the
Greater London Authority (GLA), the LFSF supports events taking place throughout the year, including during
London Fashion Week, which showcase the talents of emerging fashion designers.
To be considered for LFSF funding, an event must:
- showcase and support emerging fashion talent
- be innovative and exciting
- be good value for money
- not duplicate existing events
- have a long term plan or life expectancy
- address issues of diversity and equal opportunities
Applications are considered by an independent LFSF committee chaired by the BFC’s Simon Ward, against a specific set of criteria.
The call for this year's funding is now closed.
