The British Fashion Council (BFC) today announced they are bringing the
management and production of Vodafone London Fashion Weekend in-house.
Vodafone London Fashion Weekend is the capital’s designer shopping event
within the official London Fashion Week venue at Somerset House and
will run from 22-25th September 2011. It gives consumers and members of
the public the opportunity to shop from over 100 designer collections,
including ready-to-wear, jewellery and accessories, at discounted
prices.
The BFC aim to improve the consumer experience at Vodafone London Fashion Weekend,
enhance the designer selection and develop it in line with the
international designer showcase, London Fashion Week. As part of this,
more collections from London Fashion Week designers will be available
and high profile catwalk shows will run throughout the course of the
weekend.
Caroline Reader and Georgina Riley are joining the British Fashion
Council as Events Manager and Production Manager to take forward
Vodafone London Fashion Weekend. They join the team from Single Market
Events who developed the initial concept of Vodafone London Fashion
Weekend and have coordinated all activity to date. Single Market Events
will continue to support the BFC through marketing and ticket sales.
