To celebrate London next year, Stella McCartney will host a special fashion presentation on the evening of February 18th as part of London Fashion Week. The one-off collection will be available through the designer’s retail stores, stellamccartney.com and select wholesale accounts worldwide in May 2012. The designer’s Winter 2012 collection, will be shown as scheduled on March 5th in Paris.
In addition to Stella McCartney’s previously announced role as Creative Director for adidas Team GB for the Summer 2012 Olympics; the designer will also be celebrating the “World of Stella” at Selfridges on Oxford Street beginning January 26th until February 14th which will include a new fragrance launch, Ready to Wear, accessories, kids, lingerie, sunglasses and adidas by Stella McCartney collections.
Also in 2012 the designer will open a second London store location in addition to her already existing Bruton Street store which will include the first ever Stella McCartney Kids freestanding store reflecting “Stella’s World” in Brompton Cross on the 2nd week of February.
