DESCRIPTION:This fashion and art fundraiser is in its second year and will be held on 29th May 2012 at Proud Galleries in Camden. Returning with a 1920s twist, the unmissable fundraising party of the year will be bursting with swinging entertainment, glamorous games, luxury prizes and a glittering guest list. Guests will enjoy fabulous auctions of couture fashion, stunning art and unique experiences. The event has already received auction lots from the likes of artists Damien Hirst and Sir Peter Blake. Fashion lovers can bid on the Mulberry AW12 outfit Alexa Chung wore to London Fashion Week this year, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has donated her knock-out red Antonio Beradi dress and you could also bid on jewellery from Cartier and Stephen Webster. Other auction items include tennis lessons with Tim Henman, a walk on part in Mamma Mia, a week in the Maldives staying at Soneva Fushi and bespoke Barbour jackets to name just a few of the auction lots.All of the proceeds will support the BHF’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal. At the moment, there’s no cure for a broken heart. Once your heart muscle is damaged by a heart attack, it can never fully recover. But there is hope. The BHF aims to spend £50 million to fund ground-breaking research that could begin to literally ‘mend broken hearts’ in as little as ten years’ time.
