Eligibility
To be considered for LFSF funding, applicants must meet 13 key criteria:
1. Providing Support for Emerging Fashion Talent
2. Meaningful Partnerships
3. Widening Access and Supporting Diversity
4. Sector Support
5. Value for Money
6. Sustainability
7. Boost Investment in the Sector
8. Model Health Inquiry
9. The ‘Buzz Factor’
10. Capacity Building
11. Promoting the Sector
12. Track record
13. Evidence of Need
Applications from individual designers are not considered.
Events must be London-based.
Application process
• Applicants must complete an application form, addressing the criteria set out in the funding guidelines (as above)
• Applications are considered by an independent selection panel consisting of fashion industry experts including representatives from fashion retail, journalism, design, PR, marketing, business advice, buying and fashion event management
• Successful applicants are asked to submit full accounts and insurance documents for London Development Agency Due Diligence procedures.
Deadlines
The call for this year's funding is now closed.
Submissions must consist of:
1. Completed London Fashion Showcasing Fund application form
2. Completed BFC diversity monitoring form
3. Documents for due diligence processing should your application be successful (please note these will be kept confidential and for the purpose of GLA due diligence checks only)
- Copies of private and public liability insurance documents
- Copies of the last two full sets of accounts for your organisation
4. Documentary evidence that your organisation is a registered organisation or sole trader (e.g. Companies House registration document or evidence of submitting tax returns)
Failure to submit all of the above will result in your application being returned and your project not being considered for funding.
Applications must be received by 10am on Wednesday 6 July.
